With Deako, installing a light switch is easy and safe. No wires or tools needed!

The Simple Starter Pack

Your package selection includes 8 specialty switches, comprised of a pair of Simple Motion, Simple Timer, Simple Nightlight, and Simple Dimmer Switches. These should have been delivered already, but if not, please contact us at support@deako.com.

With your new switches you can do things like:

Set the perfect ambiance at any time with a simple slider
Make lights automatically turn on/off as you enter or leave a room
Save energy by setting how long you want lights or fans to stay on
Ease kids’ worries or move around your house with the comfort of a night light in dark rooms or hallways

Setting up your new switch

Step 1: identify your light switch

Identify the light switch you want to customize and pull the faceplate from the corners to remove.

Step 2: pull the blue tab

Pull the blue tab at the top of the switch toward you.

Step 3: remove the switch

The switch will pop out. Remove and set aside.

Step 4: plug in your switch

Plug in your Deako switch and push in the blue tab.

Step 5: replace the faceplate

Replace the faceplate and voila! You’ve installed a Deako switch!
