No. They install just like a regular switch, with the same wiring and junction box, and switches simply click into place. Your electrician doesn’t need any extra training. If they’d like a walkthrough, we offer one-to-one training by video call or phone.

Yes. Your electrician can order Deako directly through the Partner Portal or through a distributor.

Your electrician installs the Deako Base System, Simple Rocker Switches and any Specialty or Smart Switches you offer as standard. The Base System installs just like a regular switch, with the same wiring and junction box, and switches click into place. No extra training needed.

Once the homeowner moves in, they can swap Simple Rocker Switches for any combination of Smart or Specialty Switches. The old switch clicks out and the new one clicks in, with no wiring involved. And if the homeowner has questions, our friendly, US-based support team is on hand to help.

Nothing more than click out the old switch and click in the new one. The modular Deako system makes it that easy, for anyone.
